Celebrity Trend: Kim Kardashian’s Black and White Wardrobe

Kim Kardashian has said she’s changed her wardrobe to mostly all black and white so she can wear more classic pieces. I think Kim’s done an amazing  job wearing only two colors but finding pieces that have usual cuts and textures. I wonder how much longer she’ll be able to pull this off until she gets bored wearing black!

You can check out Kim’s favorite picks from her store Dash (which she also shares with her sisters Khloe and Kourtney).

Kim Kardashian’s Favorite Bronzer

Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian is always sharing makeup and style tips with her fans on her blog, including revealing her all time favorite makeup bronzer. Kim says Smashbox Bronze Lights ($28)  is her favorite because it’s a matte bronzer.

I think it’s important to have a great matte bronzer that doesn’t have shimmer in it because sometimes shimmer can make you look oily.

I use a smaller brush to contour my cheekbones and then use a bigger powder brush to give me a little color on my forehead and nose.

The bronzer is available in two shades, Sunkissed Matte and Suntan Matte. Since Kim has dark skin she uses Suntan Matte.

Spring 2009 Celebrity Trend: Worn Bell Bottom Jeans

Heidi Klum

This Spring celebs like Heidi Klum, Victoria Beckham, Kim Kardashian, Katie Holmes and Kate Hudson are loving 7 For All Mankind’s worn out, ripped bell bottom jeans. The super-flared jeans are flattering to the waistline by balancing the hips, they looks great with a loose fitting top to make your butt and thighs look skinny!

Although the jeans cost $275, you can make your own budget-friendly version by taking a vintage pair of bell bottom jeans and distressing them yourself. By using a disposable razor, sandpaper or bleach you can get the same effect for a fraction of the price!

The Star Treatment: Celebrity Eyelash Extensions

The latest celebrity beauty treatment that’s making it’s way into salons and spas all over are Eyelash Extensions. Faux lashes are precisely placed around the lid using a safe glue which last for 4-6 weeks. The end result are full, lush lashes – and no need for layers of mascara.

Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian go to the Color Salon with they’re in Las Vegas. Eyelash extension expert Didi Perez applies the star’s faux lashes, rates are from $35 – $75.

Alicia Keys and Zoe Kravitz head to the Shu Uemura Tokyo Lash Bar at Barney’s New York for the ultimate treatment from pro Soul Lee. The boutique line sells “couture” lashes made from feathers, lace and crystal. The treatment costs $400 for full lash extensions.

Christina Ricci and Alyssa Milano love the Lash-Growth stimulation treatment at D’lashes by Dionne Phillips in Beverly Hills. The treatment costs $75 and is supposed to last 6-8 weeks. D’lashes also sells an at-home kit for $25, get the look without going to the salon!

Kim Kardashian Wants To Know If You Like Her ‘Natural’ Look

Kim Kardashian wants to know how you think she looks with no makeup, or her ‘natural’ look. It looks like she’s wearing much less makeup then she usually does on the red carpet and on her show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

I think she is naturally beautiful, but everyone looks good with a little makeup on.

Celebrity Budget Beauty Tips

We all want to look as fabulous as our favorite celebrities but we don’t all have the millions that celebs have for pricey treatments and products. Some celebs are down to earth and offer some budget-friendly beauty tips.

Leighton Meester gives her hair a lift by washing her hair in a special way, “When you have a lot of buildup, shampoo your hair when it’s dry, then rinse. This prevents the water from diluting the cleanser. It gets the job done faster.”

Kim Kardashian gets her radiant looks from lots of beauty sleep, “Just sleep. Sleep is the best beauty advice I could give anyone…And use a satin pillowcase. It prevents wrinkles and keeps your hair from breaking.”

Another great tip is from Shayne Lamas, who says to mix a little bit of sand with a blob of body cream, and then use it to exfoliate your hands.

Gabrielle Union beats the frizzies by teasing her hair up high. “By the time it falls, it’s look right. At the start of the night mines super-high.”

To help de-puff baggy eyes, Selma Blair takes a cool shower, “When I wake up bloated, that really helps me de-puff.”

These are great tips, and best of all they’re all free!
