Jessica Alba is loving her favorite new braid hairstyle, so much so that she wore it to two events in a row! To get the same look take a 1″-2″ section of hair from behind your ear and braid along the top of your hair, securing with pins. You can either add an extension to continue wrapping the braid around the back of your hair – or secure the tip of the braid behind the other ear, and finish with a messy bun in the back.

For an extra twist, try adding a skinny headband like Jessica did (to the right) – this will make the braid look more polished and sophisticated.

This style is sure to keep you cool all Summer long!

Supermodel Gisele Bundchen’s makeup artist uses Rohto Arctic Eye Drops ($7) to brighten and whiten Gisele’s eyes before a photoshoot. You can also use them on blemishes to remove redness.

Jessica Alba’s makeup artist Tricia Sawyer uses a facial moisturizer as a makeup base – but in a pinch it can also double as a smoothing product for frizzed, dry hair. Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion ($10.50) is greaseless and lightweight.

Baby powder isn’t just for baby’s. Renee Zellweger’s hair stylist says baby powder ($3.50) works great as a dry shampoo – absorbing excess oil.

Emmy Rossum has a beauty trick for doubling the use of Maybelline Great Lash Mascara ($6.50). Her makeup artist Kerry Malouf uses it to lengthen and thicken her lashes, and she uses it as an eye brow groomer and filler. Make sure you choose a color that’s not too dark for your eyebrows.

Blake Lively’s hairstylist is careful not to stain her skin while coloring her hair so she applies Aquaphor ($5.50) around her hair line to act as a barrier. The Aquaphor lotion moisturizes her skin and keeps hair dye from leaving a stain.

Oprah’s makeup artist Reggie Wells swears by Model In A Bottle ($10) for setting O’s makeup. The miracle product is supposed to keep makeup in place all day long – especially under hot lights while Oprah is filming.

Jessica Alba bounced back from her post-pregnancy bod in record time by training with celebrity trainer Ramona Braganza. You can copy the same workout she uses with Jessica for only a fraction of the cost!

Follow this routine four times a week:

10 Minute Cardio: Jog for two minutes, then run hard for six, jog again for two.

Strength Training 1: Three rounds of 20 reps using 3 pound dumbbells.

• Forward lunge with curl biceps
• Reverse flys (do a lunge and hold while raising your arms at your sides, going as high as your shoulders)
• Lateral raise (same as above without the lunge)

5 Minute Cardio: Alternate between 30 seconds of jogging and sprinting.

Strength Training 2 : Three rounds of 20 reps using 3 pound dumbbells.

• Squat with shoulder press
• Chest press
• Triceps dips

5 Minute Cardio: Alternate between 30 seconds of jogging and running hard.

Core Workout: One round of 20 reps

• Reverse crunch
• Bicycle crunch
• Plank

Jessica Alba shared some of  her favorite haristyles in years past and also some style tips for how she likes to wear her hair now.

Have you experimented with your hair over the years?
My hair has been blonde, dark, highlighted, permed. It’s been short, long, really long. I used to have hair down to my butt when I was growing up.

Any bad colors?
Strawberry blonde. It was really tacky, but it was fun.

What about crazy styles?
I wanted to shave my head when I was 13, and my mom basically said I wouldn’t be able to live there anymore if I did. So I got piercings all the way up my ear instead.

What’s your favorite look now?
I like beachy hair – just wavy, natural, not fussy. I use hydrating shampoo and conditioner. I put in leave-in conditioner and wrap it in a bun until it dries, and then  let it out. I make the waves more defined, so they don’t look as puffy. It actually looks better the next day.

What about on the red carpet?
Definitely retro. I’ve known my stylist, Robert Ramos, since I was 13, and we’re always thinking about Veronica Lake and Grace Kelly and Audrey Hepburn, but kind of a modern, younger version.

You’ve been wearing lots of braids lately.
My mom used to braid my hair, and for some reason, since I had my daughter Honor, I’ve been braiding my hair. It’s kind of silly.

Do you ever look back at any hairstyles and think, That really flopped?
All the time. I’m always like, Oh, my God, I look like a hot mess.

Jennifer Aniston always looks stunning in classic jeans and a tee, she loves the new denim line, Degaine. The French label is a staple in Jen’s wardrobe – she prefers the bootcut style. The classic was has the look of a vintage jean, but with a modern fit. Jen’s Degaine slim bootcut jeans retail for $244.
