Purple is a universal eye shadow color that looks great on everyone. That’s why you’ll see redhead Julianne Moore and brunette Thandie Newton both wearing purple hues on their lids and looking amazing.

For the most flattering look, neutralize any redness with foundation before you apply the color. Choose a shade that had some shimmer (matte looks too theatrical).

Try Chanel Soft-Touch eye shadow in Amethyst.
