Now that she’s off The Hills Lauren Conrad is focusing on her passion for fashion. She revealed her four top style tips to People Magazine…

#1 Wear Neutral Colors

I really like color, but I tend to gravitate towards neutrals. For my new line (now at Kohls) we wanted to do really good basics that have a more relaxed fit.

#2 Wear Something Belted On A ‘Fat’ Day

I’ll wear something oversize but belted, because you have room in there but you have a waist. If I put on a big balloon outfit I’ll just go and eat more and that won’t make me feel any better.

#3 Make Jeans and Heels Your Go-To Date Outfit

I don’t go on fancy dates. My dates are the casual sushi and a movie, so it’s normally jeans. It’s nice to have that feminine look but not like you’re trying too hard.

#4 Lauren’s Signature Fashion Trick Is To Shorten Her Minis

I have short legs, so I have the tailor take them up another inch.

Lauren also spills that she would never consider getting breast implants like The Hills costar Audrina Patridge saying, “That’s what Wonderbras are for!”

Lauren Conrad likes to indulge at the Stoneleigh Hotel & Spa in Dallas, TX. She takes time out with a 45 minute Focused Warm-Oil massage with scalp treatment, a body and head rubdown – sounds soooooo relaxing!

The treatment costs $125 regularly, during Spa Week (Sept. 14-20) you pay only $50!

When she’s in LA Anne Hathaway gets her mani/pedi at the Recess Nail Spa. Her favorite treatment is The Musk Try, a mani/pedi treatment that includes a lavender paraffin wrap and indian spice moisturizer massage.

Usually costs $95 a treatment, only $50 during Spa Week.

Victoria Beckham keeps her acne-prone skin in good condition at the New York Shizuka spa where she enjoys the Geisha Facial, which brightens and softens the skin with Nightengale droppings (bird poop)!

The facial usually costs $180 but is only $50 during spa week.

The Hill’s Lauren Conrad is on the cover of the September issue of Shape Magazine in on orange bikini and she’s in perfect shape. Lauren jokes that she packed on some pounds when her relationship with actor Kyle Howard became serious, “I call it the ‘boyfriend layer’. We’re having more romantic dinners out, and I was exercising less.”

In order to get back into shape Lauren decided to integrate working out into her relationship by going kayaking, hiking, surfing, biking and playing tennis.

For her diet LC doesn’t obsess over calories, instead she eats really fresh and healthy foods, she says, “I stop craving pizza and burgers.”

Lauren Conrad’s trainer Jarett Del Bene is sharing some of the fitness tips he uses with Lauren on his Twitter page. The trainer says his secret to getting great legs is to  “do lots of step-ups, squats and lunges.”

For a flat stomach and great abs Jarett advises, “Eat 6 small meals a day … try to eat every 3 hours.”

Lauren is looking amazing… working out with her trainer is paying off!

Lauren Conrad always has perfect winged eyeliner – and her favorite tool is mark’s On the Edge Hook Up Liquid Eyeliner. LC is the spokeswoman for Avon’s young, hip line mark. The liquid liner sells for only $5 (how cheap is that!) and is long-wearing and quick drying.

The Hills starlet Lauren Conrad dished her beauty and style secrets in the new issue of Us Weekly, featuring Taylor Swift and Hillary Duff for their Style Issue.

When asked about how she reacts to bad outfits after seeing the paparazzi photos Lauren confessed:

I’ve thrown stuff out after seeing my own photos! I’ll look at the roommates and be like, “Dibs?” You’re your own biggest critic.

For Fall Lauren said she is loving pieces with bold detailing, like fringe, exposed zippers, “things that rough up a feminine piece a little.” And she doesn’t just shop at LA’s most expensive shops – the loves to find deals at Forever 21, Urban Outfitters and even vintage shops, that’s a true fashionista!

Lauren describes her personal style as “girlie-casual” and that she loves heels. “I just feel prettier in them. Even if I’m in a casual outfit, it’s a way to dress anything up.”

One part of her body, LC is self-consious about are her thighs. She wears long shirts or a skirt with a natural waist to avoid making her thighs look big.

I’m always envious of Lauren’s natural looking highlights, but Lauren says even her Mom has to remind her sometimes to get her touch-ups done! She gets highlights every 8 weeks, but she says she’s really lazy about it. “I book it when my moms calls, ‘Lauren, your roots are back in’.”

Lauren Conrad looked adorable in a Richard Ruiz mini dress at the Nylon magazine 90210 party. The ‘Hours Collar Seduction Sheath Dress in Black’ is available at Revolve Clothing and retails for $261. I love how she paired it with a wide belt to give it some shape.

Shannen Doherty also wore the same dress in a wine color when leaving the David Letterman show in New York recently.

The Hills is back for a fourth season, and if you noticed in episode two Lauren was wearing an amethyst color nail polish while out to lunch with her new beau Doug.

LC always has her nails painted in the prettiest polish, usually black, purple or bright red.

If you want to wear purple nail polish like LC, pick a color that works for your skin tone. Redder tones look best on medium or olive skin tones, while darker purples look great with fair skin.
