Kim Kardashian is featured on the cover of the September 2010 issue of Allure magazine where she discussed her makeup, beauty and fitness routines. Kim says makeup is her life, and her father enrolled her in beauty school at the age of 14 so she would learn how to properly apply makeup.

Everyday Kim uses PerfectSkin on her face, and Johnson’s Baby Lotion on her body.

For her makeup, Kim always has her favorite products by her side – M.A.C. Zoom Mascara and Blot Film. She also always uses Makeup For Ever HD Foundation and Powder and La Mer The Lip Balm.

Kim Kardashian is a self professed makeup junkie. She named her 5 favorite lip glosses in Ok! magazine (she serves as their beauty ambassador!).

Kim’s favorite chapstick or lip moisturizer is Softlips 100% Natural Tinted Lip Balm in Shell Pink, $4. Kim says she likes just wearing this on casual days, when she’s not going out. Plus, this one has an SPF 15 – so it’s safe to wear during the day.

To make her lips more full, Kim likes LipFusion Luxe Boudoir Collection in Lolita, $29 – Kim says this is her go-to gloss when she wants juicy, sexy full lips!

For sparkling lips, Kim likes to swipe on Diamond 12 Hour Lip Treatment by Sally Hansen!, $6 It has micro-fine diamonds for the perfect amount of shimmer.

When it comes to color Kim love Kiss Gloss N.Y.C. New York Color, $3 – the gloss has a little punch of color and Kim says it even tastes yummy!

Kim Kardashian is a self-professed makeup junkie – but on days off she likes to give herself a break from what she calls her therapeutic 30 minute makeup session a day (wow! 30 minutes!?). Kim shared some of her makeup and beauty secrets with Life & Style magazine:

On going makeup-free:

Makeup is fun, but it’s just another accessory. I’m happy with myself, and this is who I am. As much as it’s fun to glam up, the most important thing is to be comfortable in your own skin- with or without makeup.

On how she learned to apply makeup:
Kim’s father enrolled her in makeup lesson classes when she was a teenager.

My dad Robert enrolled my sister Kourtney and me in a class with legendary Hollywood makeup artist Joe Biasco when we were younger.

On going blond:

I loved my blond hair. I had a totally different, fun attitude with lighter locks. Blond was definitely a lot of maintenance, though. I had to wear different makeup because it made me look extra pale. Still, I can’t wait to do it again.

On her favorite beauty product:

Kim loves Cle de Peau Beaute concealer. She dabs a little under her eyes to hide her dark circles, she says she inherited because she’s Armenian.

On her best skincare secret:

I love moisturizers. And Creme de la Mer has a great eye concentrate and regenerating serum.

Summer is here and Kim Kardashian is getting her glow on. Kim says body shimmer is essential for Summer. She loves to use Scott Barnes’ Body Bling in both the platinum and bronze shades.

For creating a faux, quick bronze – Kim applies bronzing face powder. Kim uses two powders: MAC’s Iridescent Powder  in Loose in Golden and LORAC TANtalizer Baked Matte Satin Bronzer, which has an SPF 15.

Kim Kardashian recently released her own fragrance, but before she created her own scent – she has been a fan of many other perfumes:

Orian, Van Cleef & Arpels, $150

Makes me feel mature and sexy. It's rich- I'd wear it to a gala! A sophisticated woman would wear it. Someone rich and fancy!

Eternity, Calvin Klein, $54

This scent makes me feel pretty and sexy. I'd spray it when we got home after a dinner date, before the real fun starts!

Summer Romance, Ralph Lauren, $78

It reminds me of a fun date, and that's where I'd wear it. So versatile - absolutely anyone would be able to wear this.

Kim Kardashian’s makeup always looks so perfect when she hits the red carpet. Kim shared with Ok! magazine her favorite products to use for sexy, smoldering nighttime eyes.

Kim starts with Liquid Eye Liner in Boot Black by MAC.

Then she follows with full faux lashes by Ardell.

On her lids she uses Hazelnut shadow by Motives.

Finally she finishes with Eye M Glam Highlighter by Mario Dedivanovic

Kim Kardashian shared with Ok! Magazine the beauty products that she uses everyday. Kim’s favorite fragrance is her own signature scent , which she carries as a rollerball, “It’s sexy and sultry yet youthful and great for on-the-go. I wanted to make sure it was good for everyday use and that you could wear it both night and day,” explains Kim.

Kim also keeps good ol’fashioned Q-Tips in her makeup bag – for those little touchups throughout the day.

Before she has her photos taken by the paps she blots her face with Blot Film by MAC, “Blottting is a must for every bag. It’s super portable and perfect to touch up my skin – and get rid of the shine.”

Kim’s favorite most versatile product is Glam Balm ($80), which she says she uses to tame flyaways, moisturize her lips and keep her brows in shape – how clever!

To keep a rosy complexion Kim swipes on Blushable Creme Stick by NYC New York Color, “This is a super blendable blush that can act as a lipstick in case I need a touch up,” shares Kim.

Kim Kardashian is known for her long lustrous hair and has admitted to using fake hair extensions during photo shoots. To get her long hair shiny and silky she uses a few products that enhance the shine.

Bumble and Bumble Tonic Shampoo, $21

This shampoo, containing peppermint and tea tree oil, invigorates my scalp and leaves my hair feeling silky soft.

John Frieda Frizz Ease Serum, $10

I put a dime-sized amount of this serum into my hair after a shower . It instantly makes it glossier and stronger.

Bumble and Bumble Bb. Shine, $35

Heat tools like blow-dryers and curling irons dry out my hair. This shine spray with ultra-lightweight silicone enhances its luster.

Biosilk Silk Therapy, $25

Before I blow-dry, I rub in a few drops of this product, which smells delicious and protects my hair from damage.

Kerastase Masque Oleo-Relax Slim, $60

I use a masque once a week to keep my hair in top condition.

Kim Kardashian recently dropped 15 pounds after she was mocked for having a little cellulite retouched after a photoshoot. Kim went from 124 pounds (I think she’s 5′ 3″) to 109 pounds and dropped two dress sizes – down to a size 2!

While Kim Kardashian admits she loves to use makeup and other products to enhance her beauty, she keeps a couple products near he bedside so she wakes up already looking beautiful and fresh.

La Mer lip balm

Kim loves La Mer lip balm, $45. “To avoid my lips drying out in the middle of the nigh, I use a moisturizing lip balm that isn’t too greasy. This one makes my lips feel amazin even when I wake up in the morning.”

Keihl's Creme D'Elegance Repairateur

Before she turns in for the night Kim moisturizes her body with Keihl’s Creme D’Elegance Repairateur, $49.50, which contains argan oil.

Acne Spot treatment by Patricia Wexler

If Kim’s facing a majr break out she applies Acne Spot treatment by Patricia Wexler, $15. It contains salicylic to break down the blemish. “The gentle formula doesn’t dry out my skin.”

Tarte's MultiplEYE Natural Lash Enhancer

To keep her lashes lush she applies Tarte’s MultiplEYE Natural Lash Enhancer, $65. “..this product is great since it helps to strengthen and lengthen my natural lashes.”

Avon's Advance Techniques Intense Repair Overnight Elixir

When her hair is becoming over styled Kim applies a deep overnight treatment to repair her locks. She uses Avon’s Advance Techniques Intense Repair Overnight Elixir, $7.  “By the morning, my hair feels silky and smooth without leaving behind residue on my pillow.”
