Supermodel Elle Macpherson shared with People magazine her secret to sexy, beach hair. For her sun kissed highlights Elle lets her hair get lightened naturally by the sun, and she also visits Real Hair in London for highlights. Elle says she prefers to not ruin the quality of her hair with hair dye, so she does her best to protect the color with Frederic Fekkai conditioner.

To further protect her hair and scalp Elle always wears a straw hat (this also protects her face, preventing premature wrinkles).

To get that “just out of the ocean” tousled look Elle says she doesn’t brush her hair much.

The salt water in Bumble & Bumble’s Surf Spray is a great styling aid.

Elle Macpherson Reveals Her Beauty and Fitness Secrets

Supermodel Elle Macpherson is on the cover of the May/June issue of Hampton’s Magazine, and she dishes on her beauty regimen and how she stays in shape. Known in her earlier days of “The Body”, 44 year old Elle says instead of going to a gym she stays fit by practicing Yoga, and surfing, skiing, swimming, and riding her horse.

As for her beauty regimen Elle is very minimal – she uses products from a skincare line she endorses. The supermodel says she doesn’t wear much makeup,

I don’t wear makeup that often, but when I do, I wear Revlon—either the Mineral makeups, which are beautiful, or the Age-Defying makeup, which is incredibly moisturizing. At night I wear black eyeliner and mascara with nude lips.”
