Elizabeth Hasselbeck Gets Fit
Wednesday, May 14th, 2008The View’s Elizabeth Hasselbeck showed off her post-baby bod on the cover of Fitness Magazine in a blue bikini. Elizabeth worked out for six weeks in preparation for the shoot. And to get that flat belly back, she did ab work two times a week. She completed daily dashes, running and weight training to prepare for the super-hot cover. “Body image has nothing to do with scale numbers, it’s how you feel inside,” says Elizabeth.
The 5′ 4″ host says she focused mostly on her butt, “Before, I always tied a shirt around my waist hen I ran. It was ridiculous. Here I am trying to wean my daughter [Gracie, 3] from her blankie, and I’m covering my rear like my own security blanket.”
Elizabeth’s goal wasn’t to lose weight, she says, she just wanted to eat healthier and have more energy. So the magazine had a nutritionist design a wheat-free (Hasselbeck has celiac disease), energy-packed plan featuring lean protein and vegetables, along with nutrition bars and nuts for snacks.
