Demi Moore certainly prides herself on her long, beautiful shiny hair. In order to get Demi’s lustrous locks you should begin in shower by rinsing your hair with cool water after conditioning. After towel drying apply an antifrizz serum.

Blow dry with a boar bristle brush and a ceramic dryer. Be sure not to point the nozzle up towards the top of your head.

Once hair is dry run a flat iron through small sections from root to top to lock in sheen. Finish with shine spray.

The Hills Kristen Cavallari and Jennifer Lopez both showed up the MTV VMA’s this year wearing the same thing – their faux ponytails of course! Jennifer and Kristen added at least 18″ of luxurious hair by attaching a faux extension.

You can get the same glam look with a HairDo Wrap Around Ponytail (endorsed by Jessica Simpson). Start by slicking back your hair with gel and tie your hair into a regular ponytail. Next, wrap the extension around the base of your own ponytail and connect the velcro ends.

Kate Hudson, Liv Tyler and other celebs get their lustrous, shiny hair by using special shampoo and conditioner to protect their colored hair in between dye jobs. Kate and Liv share the same hair stylist, David Babaii, who says to combine hair spray and shine serum for super shiny locks.

Even celebrities have beauty blunders when it comes to their hairstyle (remember when Britany shaved her head?). Some of the most beautiful celebs recall their worst nightmare beauty blunders:

Jessica Biel reveals, “When I was 17 , I cut my hair up to my ears. It was a blunt cut all the way around, and I used to hairspray it until it was stiff. When  look back, I’m like ‘Ugh!’”

Anne Hathaway says when she was younger she asked to have layers cut into her hair and the stylist cut the back all one length and left the two pieces in front long – like utters! Anne says, “It was horrible, but I kept a brave face, I even tipped her.”

Halle Berry keeps it simple now a’days but she says back in the ’80s it was all about the big hair, lots of makeup and trying to look older than you were. Halle says she looks younger now at 42 than she did at 20!  Back in 1994 Halle had a feathered hair do she says looks like a backwards mullet.

Will & Grace’s Megan Mullally didn’t always have smooth, straight hair. Megan says she was  a victim of one of the big’80s perms. After all the chemical abuse she said her hair was the color of a dead leaf.

During her years on Ally McBeal actress Jane Krakowski had what she called a ‘tragic cut’ saying someone convinced her to cut her hair like Ronald McDonald – LMAO!

Mariah Carey sang on Oprah Winfrey’s Live From New York City show today and showed off her new hair style. Mariah has returned to her natural curly hair after years of wearing it straight. Her new style comes along with a new album, Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel.

I’ve always loved the old Mariah, especially from her MTV Unplugged performance in the mid-nineties.

Mostly likely Mariah had a chemical treatment to remove the prior straightening treatment. Going back to her curly hair makes her look thinner.

Harry Potter’s adorable Emma Watson uses Bumble and Bumble products to style her hair. She starts on damp hair with B&B’s Prep Spray on the ends, which adds shine and smoothness. Afterwards she follows with B&B’s Thickening Hairspray for volume and lift. How magical!

Ashley Tisdale talked to People Magazine about some of her beauty and fashion secrets. Ashley said she prefers being a brunette because it’s closer to her natural color and brings out her inner rocker, “My edgier side.”
