Beauty Talk with Cate Blanchett

Cate Blanchett

Cate Blanchett is known for her flawless skin, and she’s also the new face of SK-II skincare. She was introduced to the Japanese line after she gave birth to her most recent child, and was left with blotchy skin. Cate’s favorite product from SK-II is their ultra hydrating Facial Treatment Sheets, which wear while she sleeps before the night of a big premiere.

Cate’s favorite beauty trick is tinting her eyelashes. Since she tries to be minimal with her makeup, it’s one less thing for her to apply!

Cate Blanchett Reveals How to Get Perfect Skin

Cate Blanchett has been blessed with perfect, radiant skin – but she does use some tip and tricks, as well as products to maintain her perfect skin.

Cate maintains that she has not, nor plans to ever have Botox injections.

…my feeling is that actresses shouldn’t have a mask for a face; they need to be able to reveal feelings.

When it comes to anti-aging, Cate makes sure she stays ot of the sun – a beauty secret passed on from her mother.

During the filming of movies like Babel and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Cate used SK-II’s Skin Rebooster to restore hydration lost to her skin due to severe weather and the makeup and prosthetics she wore during filming.

Some of Cate’s other favorite skin care products are SK-II LXP Moist Softening Serum, $250

Lucas’ Papaw Ointment, $11
The enzymes in it have a lot of healing properties, I use it on my heals. One tub lasts forever.

Emu Oil Source, $11.50
The indigenous communities in Australia have always used this to moisturize. Also if you’re burned or have eczema it’s just incredible.

SK-II Mask, $120 for a pack of 10
I always travel with these and put the extra serum on the backs of my hands

Lip Fusion XL Lip Plumping Therapy, $50
