How The Octo-Mom Lost More Than 1/2 Her Body Weight

Octomom Nadya Suleman has shed 145 pounds since giving birth to 8 babies almost one year ago. At her heaviest Nadya was 270 pounds (pictured below) where she said she ate everything in site while being pregnant.

After giving birth Nadya dropped a couple sizes quickly without trying, and then she hit the gym and managed a sensible diet to knock off the ret of the weight. Nadya works out around midnight three times week and focuses soley on strength training, “I get enough [cardio] with the kids”, says Nadya.

For her diet Nadya doesn’t count calories and focuses on protein and veggies. For breakfast she eats eggs and oatmeal, lunch is sushi, turkey or chicken salad. Nadya has a sweet tooth for Pinkberry and Starbucks frappuccinos.

  3. Kudos for Nadya for losing the weight on her own; it is possible to lose that much weight just watch The Biggest Loser. I lost 100+ lbs. on my own through diet and exercise. I splurge now and again, pizza is my favorite. But, I have the discipline to know that I WILL work off any of my food splurges. You must be at the point, otherwise you could sabotage yourself.

  5. I would love to see her belly now though. I can’t imagine having my belly stretched that far and being “comfortable”. Being pregnant with one baby is uncomfortable enough but 8! Dang! I think it’s great that she did it on her own.
