Victoria Secret model Marisa Miller revealed diet and beauty secrets that make her the world’s most sexy model. Marisa denies ever starving herself to maintain her perfect model figure, she explains: “I’d much rather work out and not diet than not work out and have to diet”.

That doesn’t mean Marisa doesn’t eat healthy, she starts each day with a bowl of steel cut oatmeal with 2 spoonfuls of maple syrup, a little milk, and some sliced bananas. During the day she snacks on an apple with a couple wedges of Laughing Cow cheese, or Flavor and Fiber bars. As a special treat for desert Marisa indulges in some sliced strawberries or bananas drizzled with melted chocolate – how satisfying!

Marisa likes to workout  by boxing, Spinning and using resistance bands for when she travels. “…you can toss one in your bag, and they work your muscles without bulking them up.”

1. Self Tan – creating a bronze glow will make you look thinner.

2. Stick Your Butt Out – the trick to looking thinner in a bathing suit or lingerie is to rock your hips back so your body has an “S” shape.

3. Curl Your Lashes – it opens up your eyes and makes you look more awake.

4. Wear Skimpy Bathing Suits – extra material makes you look bigger, you can actually make your butt look smaller by not wearing a full coverage bottom.

5. Cut out Soda, Salt and Booze – they cause bloating!

  1. No mention of dinner. She’s having a very healthy breakfast and her apple and cheese could suffice for lunch. However, no mention of dinner.
    She’s got a great body, slender and toned, not at all skinny. I wish I knew what kind of bronzer she used, great color with being orange-like.

  2. elaine sounds jealous. marissa miller is gorgeous and will work my butt off to look like her thanks to her healthy advice. diet and excercse. there is no escaping it..i just need to accept it!

  3. Elaine doesn’t sound jealous, she sounds disappointed that the author of the article failed to mention MM’s dinner suggestions.

  4. I agree. Elaine doens’t sound jealous at all. She sounds more concerned that no dinner was mentioned. Furthermore, she gave the model several accolades. Technically speaking, we all should have healthy 3 meals a day with healthy snack in between. We don’t know if the author omitted the information or if the model goes everyday sans dinner.

  5. I think the diet is good, and no dinner is probably the key to her thinness. Who says you have to have dinner? As long as you eat healthy throughout the day, better not to eat at night.

  6. i agree with kathleen. i’ve had doctors and dietitians tell me that cutting food at night really helps with the weight loss. she probably goes to bed early and snacks throughout the day…which is sufficient enough food. everyone just has the wrong idea about how much we’re suppose to eat these days. and elaine does sound a tad jealous at the end there, the company wouldn’t let a high end model come out orange.

  7. Miller is orange, and has sun damaged skin.
    Even stunning women are not immune to the damage the sun can cause.
    As for the omitting dinner, I think that may be indicative of denial of food, at least in the evening.
    Model’s don’t want to be known as the “anorexic” model, so of course they will deny starving even if they do starve on a regular basis.

    She is a great example for living well and feeling great by respecting your own body by giving the attention it should need.

  9. i was anorexic for a time, its all a matter of losing weight VERY slowly because ive gained most of my weight back and my old eating habbits, not that im fat or anything im ‘healthy weight’ but who doesnt want to be skinny?
    anyway, i agree she probably skips the dinner, but i see nothing wrong with that, i maintained a very healthy weight with a mango for breakfast, fish, sticky rice, somtum and a banana with almond butter for lunch! then an hour yoga class and about 50 reps with 25 pound? weights. that was it! whats wrong with that?

  10. Lots of people imply that models are thin or anorexic and for the most part that is true. VS models, however are definately true role models because they maintain their shape by excerise and working out – if they were underweight, then thier ribs and spine would be sticking out. This is simply not true for VS models.
    The key to a flat stomach is not excercise nor starving yourself, it is simply eating smaller portions (which explains “snack throughout the day”). you can eat more often, just smaller amounts. The size of your stomach is, for the most part, determined by how much you eat & drink in one sitting.
    As for the tanning, the article does not say that you have to lie out in the sun to achieve this tan. I am personally against sun-worshipping, and there are many alternatives to making your skin appear tanner, (without looking orange; i.e. sepia ink). Most models and actors will actually have the artificial tan applied, this is because the “tan” is more managable. Abs, cheekbones, and hipbones are often accented with bronzer to make the model/actor appear more thinner, and VS models use self-tanner products around the breasts to make them appear a cup size bigger. You don’t have to have skin cancer or be anorexic to look like a VS model.

  12. I agree that dinner should be ommited from your meal plan when trying to lose weight, but this is NOT enough food by any means.
    Especially when working out.
    If you would like to lose weight speak to your doctor about finding a plan that works for you, not some model’s crazy diet that you found online.

    Don’t get me wrong, I love Marisa.
    But impressionable young girls are reading this, some of whom will most likely try this.
    I don’t know what the auther was thinking.
