Long gone is the overly-hyped asymetrical bob of 2008, celebs are growing out their bob or chopping their hair into a sexy long bob.

This look is particularly nice when separated into piecey, long waves.  Ask your stylist for a cut that hits between the bottom of your chin and the top of your shoulders.

    Nice trend watching. This cut is hot but it’s for the haircut holdouts or the cowards as we say. :-) In our salon we call this the bab! (barely a bob) Hair will inevitably be getting shorter toward summer this is a good transition cut for the “i’d sooner die than cut my hair” gals. In other words we predict that it will be a short lived trend.

    I actually cut off over a foot of hair last spring and had a real bob, but now I want to grow my hair again but not too long as it was before, so this lenght seems perfect. I am tired of not being able to just pull back my hair when it looks crappy! So I will actually be growing my hair out for this look! BAB for me!

    Just discovered I have a BAB… and I love it!
    I had my hair really long (really long) for something like 4 years and this winter I had it cut a-bit-over-the-shoulders just like Gwyneth Paltrow. Although most of my friends and family say I look like a 16-years-old (I’m 27) I think I look hot!
    I guess I will be keeping this haircut for a long time since I just can’t decide if I want to go shorter or to grow my hair back… :)

    I have had long hair forever. I’m in my 40’s and just had to fight with my stylist about going short. I’m soooo ready, and I love this bob, or BAB. I’ve made another appointment with someone else to go this much shorter. I’d just like some instructions to give to the new stylist. GOD ~ I am so ready for this!

    stylist deshaynior thinks that nicole richie’s braids are nice but feels the star can benefit from one of her volunteer style appts to see what the miami stylist can do for her that no other stylist can cause she is unique and different. and she is so beautiful the designer said and feels she can high light the stars inner and outer natural beauty.
