Celebrity Budget Beauty Tips

We all want to look as fabulous as our favorite celebrities but we don’t all have the millions that celebs have for pricey treatments and products. Some celebs are down to earth and offer some budget-friendly beauty tips.

Leighton Meester gives her hair a lift by washing her hair in a special way, “When you have a lot of buildup, shampoo your hair when it’s dry, then rinse. This prevents the water from diluting the cleanser. It gets the job done faster.”

Kim Kardashian gets her radiant looks from lots of beauty sleep, “Just sleep. Sleep is the best beauty advice I could give anyone…And use a satin pillowcase. It prevents wrinkles and keeps your hair from breaking.”

Another great tip is from Shayne Lamas, who says to mix a little bit of sand with a blob of body cream, and then use it to exfoliate your hands.

Gabrielle Union beats the frizzies by teasing her hair up high. “By the time it falls, it’s look right. At the start of the night mines super-high.”

To help de-puff baggy eyes, Selma Blair takes a cool shower, “When I wake up bloated, that really helps me de-puff.”

These are great tips, and best of all they’re all free!

  1. You list some very good tips to help you acheive perfect skin and perfect hair. If you want your hair to look and stay healthy, you need to consider sleeping on a satin pillowcase. I had heard a lot about them a few friends and from my stylist. She told me that sleeping on a cotton pillowcase causes friction leaving you with split ends and frizzes. Those split ends then get caught in between the cotton fibers and cause breakage. Cotton is also naturally absorbent so it pulls the moisture from your hair and skin. With moisture being such an important factor in healthy hair, you don’t want to use anything that will make the situation worse. The combination of dried out hair along with weakened ends causes your hair to split, frizz, breakage and then, hair loss. I switched to a satin pillowcase and I’ve seen a huge difference in my hair and also with my skin. I don’t wake up with those pillowcase lines on my face in the morning. I found a website that has a page devoted to the benefits of sleeping on satin and they had some incredible pillowcases. I purchased a queen size set and I couldn’t be happier! The company is A Touch Of Satin. Their web address is http://www.atouchofsatin.com. You might want to check out their site and read about the benefits and see what they have to offer.

I also bought an aromatherapy eye pillow from them and it REALLY helps with puffy, swollen eyes from a night of too much booze and not enough sleep. They are also great for sinus congestion and headaches! Their eye pillows are becoming very popular these days!

Well, I hope this helps you out.
