How To Get Lauren Conrad's Two Tone Hair Color

Lauren Conrad and other celebs like Rachel Bilson, Ashlee Simpson and Whitney Port are showing off the latest hair color trend of multi-tone hair color – which is a perfect style for transitioning between seasons.

The ombre effect can be done by a hair color professional (print out the pic above and show your stylist!). Ombre color is dark on top (near the roots) and gradually lighter towards the bottom. This is a great way to extend  your hair color since your roots won’t be noticeable.

    Seriously?! Ashlee and Rachel look like they’ve been backpacking for a year and Lauren Conrad looks like she fell into a vat of peroxide. BTW I’m pretty sure Ashlee has naturally light hair, so she absolutely will have roots, and very strange-looking ones at that…light-dark-light, ugh. This is what happens when Junior High girls dye their own hair! Why are celebs paying tons of money for it?

    I love this look. i’ve been doing this on clients for years now and love that it’s becoming more embraced. I like the more natural e.g. rachel bilson’s, but love the edgier version of ashlee and lauren!

    I really… don’t think this looks very good. Maybe if the color wasn’t paired with unkempt hair it would be better. I’m all for creative hair coloring and I just don’t think this is flattering.

    Honestly, it just looks messy. It’s as if they put no effort into their appearance, though that’s anything but true. The look reminds me of waiting too long to get a touch-up…way too long.

    This is disgusting. Why would someone embarrass themselves with such trashy hair? I can’t believe celebrities are actually paying someone to make them look like cheap prostitutes who can’t afford box dye. Yuck!
